What is it?

A new ecumenical Christian mentoring ministry called Next Steps of James Island and Folly Beach (NSJF).  NSJF will help our neighbors in need get out of poverty by making positive changes in their lives emotionally, physically, and spiritually.


Where is it based?

Beginning in 2018, NSJF will operate out of Saint James.


Does it require training?

Yes, below are the first introductory session in the Parlor of the Ministry Center.

Monday, November 27th from 9:30 AM to Noon,

Thursday, December 21st from 9:30 AM to Noon, or

Thursday, January 18th from 9:30 AM to Noon.


Are there different positions?

Yes, during the session, we will explore how NSJF operates and, if you are interested in this ministry, select the team best suited for you. Join us as we transform our neighbors’ lives, through Jesus Christ, one conversation—one prayer—one step at a time!
